Our Founding Donors Wish List

Our commitment to excellence relies on your support.

KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) public charter school serving middle-school students in San Diego. Our mission is to prepare our students--95% of whom come from low-income neighborhoods--to achieve their goal of getting into college. Traditionally, students such as ours, who reside in and around the Logan Heights community in southeastern San Diego, have not had the resources, opportunities or preparation to excel in school. KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy is opening the door to change this.

Because of our above-and-beyond approach, state funding alone does not cover the full expenses of a KIPP Adelante education. We provide innovative programs, an extraordinary curriculum and enriching extra-curricular activities throughout the school year as we prepare our students to get ahead in college and life.

  TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS

KIPP Adelante Prep is a 501(c)(3) organization and any charitable donation of either monetary gifts or in-kind items would be greatly appreciated and fully tax-deductible as allowable by law.

If you, your company, or your organization would like to contribute, please contact Freda Statom, Director of Development at (619) 849-9018 or at fstatom@kippadelante.org.

Sponsors are needed for a variety of programs:

Extended Day Arts and Sports Enrichment

In addition to our rigorous academic curriculum, we provide enriching extracurricular programs that encourage our students' creative and physical talents. Your donation will ensure that students learn vital team-building and leadership skills necessary for their success. This fund is earmarked for musical, visual arts and sports programs, supplemental instructors, supplies and materials.

Enrichment Field Trips

The vibrant downtown area provides an inviting array of cultural, political and social opportunities. This fund will allow students to visit theaters, museums, parks, and other local sites and will foster a sense of pride in the local community.

College Visits

Visits to college campuses help our students get ahead for college through early exposure to and awareness of higher education. Part of our college preparation plan is to acquaint our students with different college choices and possibilities. By the time our students graduate from eighth grade, they will have visited at least 20 college campuses. This fund will be used to finance trips to college campuses, locally and nationwide.

Saturday School

The Saturday School allows for even more classroom time for our students to focus on both academic and enrichment subjects.
