The Commitment to Excellence is at the heart of all that we do here at KIPP Adelante.  Students, parents, and teachers sign the Commitment to Excellence at the beginning of each school year promising to uphold our school’s values of teamwork, responsibility, achievement, constant learning, and kindness

The following is the KIPP Adelante Teacher Commitment to Excellence.  Our Faculty Members are dedicated education professionals passionate about teaching and helping our students achieve their dreams.

COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE

 RESPECT.           ACHIEVEMENT.       TEAMWORK.               RESPONSIBILITY.         CONSTANT LEARNING.

TEACHER’S COMMITMENT:

We fully commit to KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy in the following ways:

ACHIEVEMENT

We will arrive at school every day by 7:15 a.m. (Mon-Fri.)

bullet

We will remain at school until 5:00 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) and 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

bullet

We will teach Saturday classes on appropriate dates from 8:45 a.m. until 12:05 p.m.

bullet

We will maintain high expectations for ALL of our students and do whatever it takes to help our students meet these goals. 

RESPONSIBILITY

We will always teach in the best way we know how and we will do whatever it takes for our students to learn. 

RESPECT

We will make ourselves available to students, parents, and any concerns they might have.

We will always protect the safety, interests, and rights of all individuals in the classroom. 

CONSTANT LEARNING

We will reflect on our professional growth as educators and actively participate in collaborative professional work and development times.
