Volunteers
Volunteer tutors from local
universities
 | We have about 10 tutors from UCSD,
SDSU, and USD coming in regularly to work with students in all subjects and
grade levels. |
Parent Volunteers
| We have parent volunteers during
school hours as well as outside of the classroom. Each year, a number of
parents volunteer to serve as chaperones on our End of the Year College
Visitation Trips. |
ArtsBridge Scholar
|
 ArtsBridge
awards scholarships to UCSD graduate and undergraduate students of the arts to
create and implement arts education workshops for K-12 classrooms at no charge
to the host classroom. The workshops are 16 to 20 hours in duration and
generally last for an entire quarter. The ArtsBridge scholar works in
collaboration with us to develop project ideas that are relevant,
standards-based and age appropriate. This is our third year working with an
ArtsBridge Scholar. |
